Anyway, here's the fix - soften the fabric using a fabric softener and wash through an extra large washer set on the gentle level. After washing however, the batting lumped...that's for the comforter. So what I did is I line dried it. After that, I opened the side seams so that I can tweak everything back into place. And to top everything off, I machine quilted the Nautica Woodmont Sets' comforter in different places so that it will not lump the next time I wash it.

Overall, for the price that's so approachable especially for a college student, I can still confidently say that I paid a very reasonable price for the whole Nautica Woodmont Set. This bedding set will stay with me for a long time to come and will be a 'regular' at my college dorm room.
